Signal changes on the Brooklyn sub

I spoke with a UP signal maintainer a couple of days ago and he said the entire Brooklyn sub(Portland-kalamth Falls Oregon) is to be fitted with new signals maybe before the end of 2010. At the north end of Swain (Junction City Oregon)cable tracing has been done and new signal foundations have been delivered. So it looks like the classic SP cantilever signal gantry at the north end of Swain is not long for this world.
