Hindsight is always 20/20. I used to watch that train cruise through Saratoga a few times a week. I'd be at home, hear the horn as it was approaching the Saratoga Avenue crossing, and race up to the Glen Brae Road crossing in time to wave as they went by. If only I had a camera back then.....I'd love to know if the conductor that used to wave to me is still around these days. He was always "busy" reading the afternoon edition of the SJ Mercury News (back when that was an actual newspaper).
