The movement of loaded coal trains can easily become a priority for the power plant about to run out; also for the ship waiting to load @ the dock. Most RR's pay a penalty if the ship has to wait for coal, and grain also. Here in Auburn, WA., the BNSF today had 2 loaded grain trains staged, waiting for room @ TEMCO in Tacoma and/or Continental Grain in Seattle.
Question: How is Amtrak handling this track blockage ???
