Here is the relevant portion of a just released press announcement:

"The line suffered a setback when fire damaged the Lobato Trestle, rendering it temporarily impassable to trains. However, design and materials acquisition for repair of the trestle is proceeding at best possible speed. Alternative accommodations for rail fans from the Chama end are in the planning stages, and the railroad anticipates a return to full service out of Chama in a matter of weeks."

Full service out of Chama in a matter of weeks! Good news.
