Both 1218 and 611 have roller bearings already. All A's and J's did.

The new program is going to look a lot more like UP's and CP's programs than anything SR or NS did in the past. You are not going to see excursions being run every weekend willy-nilly across the NS system. That is part of what killed the earlier program.

Expect far fewer trips, fewer of whcih will be open to the public. Expect far more corporate trips and public displays, something they NEVER did in the old program.
