I agree. This constant drivel about using your "real name" is about as helpful as knowing what you ate for breakfast. Get over it. Please tell me how you could even verify it is the "real name" instead of a pseudonym. Fact of the matter is, you cannot. Besides, the anonymity found on a fan site such as this actually provides a benefit to those coming here. It provides an avenue which allows information to flow freely. This allows those who work in the railroad industry to provide information about the railroads they work for - without having to worry about their employer knowing it was they who revealed information. I am not talking about proprietary company information, just simple information about the railroad which the railroad is not releasing. If you remove the anonymity from this forum, I know several people who will have their hands tied and will no longer post here. And with their departure, the valuable information they bring goes with them. So, lets all get over this juvenile infatuation with "real names" and talk about trains.
