Transbay Terminal Demolition

Demolition will start on AUGUST 7th on the historic 71-year old Transbay Transit Terminal which in the early days of the Bay Bridge hosted three Interurban railroads commonly referred to as the "Bridge Railway" . The Terminal is located in San Francisco at 1st & Mission Streets in San Francisco. About 140 homeless persons have to be forcibly evicted.

Transbay JPA Offers Transbay Terminal Historical Tours
Before demolition of the existing Transbay Terminal begins in mid-August, the Transbay JPA is offering tours of the historic facility on Friday, July 30th every hour on the hour between Noon and 4 p.m.
