Greetings from the "Scenic East". Yup, we have mountains, valleys and flowing rivers here too!
Come with me on a scenic trip to the Lehigh Gorge State Park in Pennsylvania and enjoy a few
vistas featuring Reading & Northern's 4-6-2 #425 blue Pacific powering excursions solo out of
Jim Thorpe, PA into the Gorge.
The routing follows the former Central of New Jersey (y'know, the line famous for it's "Blue Comet"). Photos span July 3rd through July 5th, 2010 as R&N #425 subs for the normally diesel
powered trips through the Gorge.
Enjoy!
