Much of last week, when the sun was visible up here in the Pacific Northwest, it had a very amber tint due to forest fires in BC and eastern Washington. I probably missed a couple of real nice sunsets before I got a chance to watch Friday's.
Several minutes before the sun went down, the reflections off the water were truly incredible. Like molten gold. Fortunately BNSF provided a train and I did my best to catch it in this rare light.

A few minutes later the Anderson Island ferry sailed through the reflection.

Upon closer examination, I noticed the smoke provided an opportunity to see some sunspots.
