Copper Basin Railway at Tunnel 2

The first inbound loaded ore train, symbol OT-1, passes through Tunnel #2 on the way to Hayden, AZ. Hayden is the location of the ASARCO smelter, where the copper ore contained in this train is unloaded. Train OT-1 runs almost 24/7 bringing copper ore from the open pit mine at Ray, AZ to the Hayden Smelter.
This photo was taken on Drew Jacksich's and my trip to Arizona to shoot the Copper Basin and Apache Railways
