That's a great shot. Thanks. Other than the Apache, there are only three US railroads left where you can photograph similar ALCO lashups lugging long trains up a hefty grade. The holdouts are: Arkansas & Missouri (Ozarks), Western New York & Pennsylvania (Keating Summit PA) and the Delaware-Lackawanna (over the Poconos in PA). The latter lines use both six-axle MLW and ALCO units along with various four-axle AlCO's.
The Livonia, Avon & Lakeville in New York also runs long trains with three unit sets of ALCO power, but it doesn't have the steep grades of the D-L, A&M or WNYP.
