Don't know if it is still there, but for years the partial mockup of the front & one side of 4449 was inside the old Desert Center gas station. The one next to Desert Center Cafe( the only restaurant I knew of to get a " B " grade from Riverside Co. Health Dept. ). Seems old man Ragsdale, who owned the town, bought it from the production company after filming ended & hauled it to Desert Center. he had quite a collection of desert junk inside there, and used to display a WW 2 U.S. Army motorcycle inside the Cafe.
