The UP film was also available from Interurban Films back in the 1980s. I've always wondered about the scene of the steam engine on it's side at night and burning; was it staged, or was an actual accident filmed? Another great video offered by them was the Great Northern safety film, "Why Risk Your Life?," although Interurban titled it, "Safe Switching." It shows E7s on the Empire Builder, so it was probably produced in the late 1940s. There's also the UP safety film, "Getting Off On The Right Foot," produced in Los Angeles about 1965. I got a VHS copy through the Association of Railway Museums long ago--I wonder if it is available anywhere today.
