I highly recommend a trip to the Durango & Silverton. I'm still trying to make a return trip since my 1st in 1992. The roundhouse in Durango is so cool. Question: Does the D & S still have the boxcar converted - to - motorhome rental available ??? This deal involved a boxcar that slept up to 4, you would rent it, & a special train would spot it @ Rockwood ??? for a week, complete with water & power hookups. If I ever get a few bucks I would love to do it.
