I had just spent a couple of hours this afternoon taking SB Sounders and two Cascades at the Auburn, WA station when I noticed switching in the BNSF Yard. I drove down and there were two GP39u posed with Mt. Rainier 50 miles in the distance at 6:20 p.m.

Nice shot but then they started to move out on the line that goes over Stevens Pass with six cars and a caboose. I beat them to the first grade crossing I could find, essentially at the Auburn east city limits. I like the shot I took at 6:31 p.m., even though it is badly backlit.

Anyhow, what did I take?
