Medco Willamette #7 at Medford April 1964

On my way to Klickitat, WA in April of 1964 I found this locomotive stored inside the Medco Mill in Medford, OR. I was 17, a high school senior, somewhat brash, and illiterate when it came to "No Trespassing" signs. I knew that engine was in there so I walked on in, got my shot and got out.

This locomotive is now in Dunsmuir at Railroad Park, the privatly owned caboose motel just South of town off I-5.
