Double Stacks on Donner November 1990

Even with all the excitement and moans of orgasmic delight in recent months, double stacks on Donner were nothing new. Witness this photo taken near Hirschdale in November of 1990. Although shorter in height than current stack trains, double stacks did exist on Donner Pass at least twenty years ago.
