Steel Ties - gravel road crossing

Working on a yard project that will utilize steel ties, there are several places where a gravel access road will cross the tracks. We had originally designed the yard to have timber ties, and spec'ed out timber guard and gravel crossings. Obviously, a timber guard crossing would be difficult with steel ties, you can't lag into a steel tie. Right now we are looking at using a rubber railseal guard in an asphalt crossing, but this seems like overkill. Looking for ideas, has anyone seen a gravel access road crossing a steel tie track in the field? What could be used with steel ties that would be the equivalent of a timber guard? Thanks!
