Re: SP 1953 Coast Excursion Pics

I'm not sure about photo #1, but photos #2 and #3 show an excursion of SP's 7th Street track in San Francisco, directly across the tracks from Potrero Tower. I've never seen an excursion on that track before. Real rare mileage.

Photos #3 shows 4-6-2 SP2491 heading to Mission Bay Roundhouse, and #4 at the water plug on one of the roundhouse leads. I would venture to say that photo #1 was also taken in San Francisco, possibly further west on 7th Street.
