It is my understanding that the LPG tank cars that had been stored at Davenport this past spring had not been cleaned and displayed the haz-mat placard. That is why Sierra Northern was only able to move 5 tank cars at a time over the excepted track. Currently there are 10 LPG tank cars in Watsonville in short term storage. I have been told the next group of tank cars will be scrubbed and will not have the 5 car haz-mat restriction for excepted track.
BTW, I see Sierra has moved MOW equipment down to Watsonville for line maintenance.
