I don't know why the dates were changed, but this is all I have:

The CCJPA received confirmation from Union Pacific that they will begin a track work project replacing concrete panels that run through Oakland's Embarcadero. This will impact some Capitol Corridor trains that start or end at the Oakland Jack London and Oakland Coliseum station stops.

Track work will occur on the following dates: Monday, October 18th –Friday, October 22nd and Monday, October 25th – Friday, October 29th, 2010.
