Last I heard the 2100 had boiler problems related to a bad coversion to oil. It reportedly (from someone I know who worked with it and gave up) has the wrong oil burner in it and doesn't burn hot enough to keep steam up which is reported to be the real reason it wouldn't pull Tacoma Hill---simply didn't have enough steaming capacity due to wrong burner.
