SP Alco RSD12s in the 70s

After a reminder from a friend, I checked the file and there they were. The that 70's (mostly) train show continues as we again move up the SP roster, to the SP Alco RSD12s in the 2950s. There is one more group coming, the SD38-2s, before we move to SP's passenger power!

Southern Pacific RSD12 2958 is being worked on at the Taylor Roundhouse in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 28, 1976.

Southern Pacific RSD12 2967 and C630 3143 work together in a location not recorded in this Kodachrome by Dave Hardie, taken Feb. 1975.
