BNSF (CB&Q) Denver line capacity

This line (Lincoln to Denver) is single track. But it seems like they run a lot of trains on it - my impression is something like 40 or 50 per day. (Does anyone know the real figure?) How do they run that many trains on single iron?

And, what is the maximum capacity of a single track line?
