About that rail passenger money from Ohio, New Jersey, and Wisconsin-send it to CA.

Send us the money from Wisconsin, it should complete nearly full double tracking and speed increases to 110 mph. on LOSSAN Corridor from LA to San Diego-taking over 45 minutes off of the current 6 stop schedule. That will allow us to operate an intercity train every hour on the hour from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm, with additional 1:40 non stop peak service on weekdays. This would also allow for much faster schedules, less delay, and greater operational safety for Metrolink and Coaster commuter trains in the corridor.

We'll also be glad to take the 3 billion from New Jersey. California can use it to take 30 minutes off of the LOSSAN Schedule from LA to Santa Barbara and raised four segments to 110 mph.. We could use about 800 million of it to do the LAUPT 6-8 track Run Throught poject. This project will save all operators another 10 minutes, and allowing for direct through connections for all metrolink services without having to change ends. Also we'll take another 600 million for the tunnel under UCSD to save another 15 minutes in running time between LA and San Diego- now we will have a non stop time of 1:15 minute from LA to SD and an all stop schedule of 1:35.

Since the 126 mile LAUPT-SD corridor is already more time competitive than auto travel for 8 hours a day, with a 2:45 minute schedule, and the trains are "standing room only" at peak travel times and on weekends, faster service, more trains, and more frequent departure times will allow for significant passenger rail growth.

Incremental speed increases, high priority grade separations, double track and enhanced siding capacity, PTC, high priority capital projects like the Jim Mills tunnel and the run through can and will build on proven LOSSAN demand and success.

So we'll be glad to take the money and can start immediately on many of the double track and PTC projects. Many of these are already environmetally cleared, as is the Union Station Run Through. Most of the rest can be cleared quickly, and can move to design/build/finance construction contracts very quickly in order to put people to work now.

The CHSRA has more than it can spend, is not prepared to move forward, will likely engender lawsuits due to its dismal planning, and has nothing ready to build. LOSSAN has projects that are "shovel ready" and
