Drew you don't have to share your wonderful photos on a free site. I've always been willing to purchase books to obtain photos from the "good old days" and I'd be willing to pay a nominal fee to a high quality website that featured photos in my area of interest. That website could then have a feature that prevented downloading. In the meantime there's nothing wrong with sharing information on a text-only forum.

I have to say this is the only forum that I bother with on a regular basis. I enjoy the extensive knowledge base of the northwest (and especially Eastern Washington) and the west coast. Trainorders, besides it's other problems, seemed too focused on Southern California to the exclusion of other areas. This forum has also been a decent mix of longtime railroaders and "roadside fans". Too much of one or the other gets tiring. While I'm always happy to share experiences from four decades of railroading I've learned far more from others. So, thanks for the good times and the outstanding photos that have been shared. I hope we all can find a similar venue in the future.
