Capitol Corridor service advisory this weekend

Received from the CCJPA:

Beginning Saturday morning November 20, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. the Union Pacific will be completing railroad signal system upgrades between Emeryville, Oakland Jack London, and Oakland Coliseum Stations.

This work is in conjunction with Caltrans’ seismic retrofit of I-880 near the Lake Merritt Channel and is expected to continue until approximately midnight on Sunday evening, November 21, 2010.

As a result, Capitol Corridor trains operating through this area may be delayed up to 20 minutes in both westbound and eastbound directions as they travel through the work area.
