My understanding is that the Gold Line’s Siemens cars will be moved to the Blue / Expo Lines, and Blue Line trains will turn at 7th & Flower and come out either as Blue or Expo trains. So the first answer is existing Nippon-Sharyo and Siemens cars. The second answer is probably the same as are used today.



This will all change with (1) opening to Santa Monica that will require new cars yet to be ordered and (2) opening the Regional Connector.
