Years ago when Rob first started "Railroad Newsline" [1998/99?] everyone contributed "news" as it happened or from what they read in the papers.

When Larry took over supplying us with all the news - I think most of us just took it for granted [get it GRANTed? - anyway] that this Larry Grant was a great guy doing all this hard work for us. I kind of figured he did it for free and I always thought – Wow! That’s got to take an incredible amount of time.

Now we know.

I know I stopped writing and sending "news" because Larry had made it so convenient – perhaps we should all get back in the habit of contributing our own “news” – either from eyewitness accounts or from news links.

Thanks again Larry – take a break if you need to.
