Altamont Press to remain open into early-2011

Altamont Press will remain open into the early months of 2011 to publish the Central West No. 1 timetable. I made this decision over the weekend as yesterday would have been the deadline for printing before year's end.
Difficulties remain in securing timetable data for two shortlines. Some minor holes exist in other places, but nothing that would delay the timetable any further. The reason I've held out is because I believe these shortlines are more significant than others. And right now I'm not confident in the data I have for either one.
After answering a question on another discussion board, I received several follow-up questions in an e-mail just a short while ago. Here are the answers, by topic:
Timetable Publishing
Q. Will there be additional timetable releases in 2011?
A. No. Altamont Press will remain open to produce Central West No. 1 and sell remaining inventory. That's all. No California Timetable in 2011.
Q. When will Altamont Press close?
A. I don't know yet. I expect it to happen in the early-half of 2011 and probably on relatively short notice.
Q. Will you be selling at Winterail?
A. Maybe.
Discussion Board
Q. When will you close the discussion board?
A. The discussion board will remain open into 2011, as long as Altamont Press is still open.
Q. Will the discussion board archives be preserved?
A. After consulting with an attorney last week, I'm happy to report the archives will be preserved. When Altamont Press closes, the database holding the messages will be transferred to the www.trainnews.org server operated by espee99 who publishes Trainnews.
Anyone who wishes their prior messages NOT be transferred to www.trainnews.org must notify Altamont Press in writing with a list of messages to be deleted. I'll need two things, a list of each message with subject line, username, date/time *and* some way of verifying you were the author of said posts. I realize this may be tricky given the anonymous nature of the board. If there's any uncertainty, I may ask to discuss it with you over the telephone. In any case, if you can't prove you were the author, the messages probably won't be deleted.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
