Wow...not cool. Sam Posey may have not been the best driver on the planet, but he understands the art form that is auto racing. He gets how the magic and drama of road racing appeals to certain people in this country and culture. He understand the quirky, "oddball" stuff that some of us identify with.

Sam suffers from Parkinson's disease and still writes and does his shaky broadcasts on Speed Channels' Acura Pre-Race show for the Formula 1 series. I listen to each one as if it's his last, hanging on every word and inflection. Props to him for pushing himself to "stay in the game", and for offering an insight into the sport of auto racing, and model railroading, that is interesting and engaging.
