In the recent past as many as two freights a night each way, one pair being Vehicle trains. Weekends can be quiet but recent rains reset everybodys tempo. All freights take the 'Olive district' (Santa Fe term) so they do not go to Fullerton. If you have a scanner listen for 'Day-go' or 'Day-go-Bar', terms only RR's could come up with from San Diego-Barstow. Vehicle traffic is subject to surges and ship arrival at National City.
