That must have been the train I saw. Was surprised by the lack of a UP unit. I did a web search and it looks like the high rail vehicle was from 'Brandt'. Probably a 6000 Brandt Power Unit and an OTM Tracker. Between Gaviota and Goleta there was another specialized MOW trainset but it was dark and hard to make out. Lots of fresh ties strewn along the line as well. Hopefully we'll see more traffic when the work is complete.
