King St. Station is located in beginning of the SODO ( South of Downtown ) area of Seattle, WA. The photographer was facing almost due North, which even today offers great views of downtown buildings. As an added bonus, the Royal Brougham St. grade crossing just South of the station is now an overhead bridge, offering elevated views of the depot tracks & platforms.
