Looking for model train simulator software

I work for a railroad consulting firm, right now I have a project that involves using the customers existing tracks to load a 100 car unit train. I need to work out the moves that will be required to get the cars through the loadout. Is there a simple (free or cheap) model train sim available online that I could use to work out the moves? I picked up a copy of Trainz but it is a little more involved than I was looking for, I just want to be able to build a model of the existing track layout, and then move the cars around. I don't need scale speeds, in-cab view, horn to toot, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
