This cannot be good news for SMART. Their trains would run in daytime, which restricts the NWP freights to the night time. The thought of up to 30 trains a week [4-5 per night] would cause me to lose sleep, too. Afterall, there haven't been any trains for almost 10 years. Of course, the nimbys could restrict freight operations to the daytime, if the didn't have to worry about SMART. I really question the freight projections-somewhere between a couple thousand cars per YEAR [6 trains a week of 6 cars] and a couple thousand per WEEK [30 trains a week of 65 cars]. Someone raided the local plantation, and smoked too much. Rich Hall
