The Sierra College Friends of the Library will present an illustrated lecture entitled “Roseville – April 28, 1973” by retired Southern Pacific Conductor Walt Wilson on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 7 PM in the Library on the Sierra College-Rocklin Campus.

Retired Southern Pacific Conductor Walt Wilson will present the story of the April 28, 1973, ammunition train explosion that destroyed much of the Roseville rail yard and sent debris flying for miles into surrounding Roseville neighborhoods.
