UPRR Trackwork in Oregon

Flying down I-84 at 65 mph today, saw a ballast train at Weatherby. A gang was working between there and the tunnel, and had the track completely pulled out of the east end down to the subgrade.

Looks like Oregon Eastern is still hanging in there. Several cars at the plant west of Vale.
