Yes... I contacted them and was told this:

'The special train should be 2 Amtrak P42's and 15 private cars based in the Cali area. Some cars are part of the LARail group and others will be from Rail Journeys West. It should be a great trip! You will probably see a lot of misinformation about the train, because the general public really doesn't know anything about trains and doesn't know the difference between a steam engine and a diesel.'
