Green line extension meetings starting on 4-6-11

Here is the latest info for the green line extension.

Please either attend these meetings or send your comments to Randy Lamm of Metro, who's heading this project. Combined with the Crenshaw/LAX project, this light rail will extend from the Mid-City to LAX to as far south as Torrance, so it deserves the support of those who seek a light rail/transit alternative to our ever-increasing congestion problem.

We would like to invite you to attend a community meeting for the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension. The Environmental Review process began in April 2010 with Public Scoping meetings. Subsequent community meetings held in October 2010 provided stakeholders with information on proposed alternatives and station locations.
Our April 2011 meetings will provide:
An update on our progress to date
Opportunities for input related to the project and environmental issues currently being studied
Please join us.
Metro encourages you to become involved with the project planning by coming to learn about the key features, ask questions and provide important feedback. All meetings are open to the public and we urge you to invite your friends and neighbors.
