The CN purchase of dash-8's is not a move to tide them over until new power can be delivered, but is being done instead of buying new power. Last post led me to believe that is was a get by move, but it isn't. Most units being delivered this year are from prior orders, don't know about the number of orders placed this year. EMD has had a pretty good overseas business the past few years, don't know how those are holding up.
