Belongs to Western Rail, WRIX, on short term lease to EWG. Formerly ex-DMVW, exx-BNSF,
exxx-ATSF. Believe 3043 is BNSF number, don't know ATSF numbers, went through a Santa Fe remanufacture program in the mid-1980's. Still has turbo, and rated at 2,000 hp. Last weekend EWG had a neat lashup on 109 car grain train, 2 SD-45's, GP-20, GP-7 pulled Deep Creek hill just fine.
