Santa Cruz Branch Line Reopens To Davenport

Tuesday the washout repair was completed and the line to Davenport reopened. Wednesday’s job headed to Santa Cruz with UP #343 in the lead with SERA #50 behind. The first three pictures are at La Selva Beach on the way up for a delivery for Probuild and the last one was very late in the afternoon on the return to Watsonville with empties. The close of escrow could happen anytime after May 5th so this is the last time a UP locomotive will have operated on the Santa Cruz Branch Line while UP still owned the line.
