Along the lines of the V&T thread and Mr Jacksich's suggestion it make a lap of Mound House.

It sure would be nice if Sierra RY.#3 could barnstorm around the State of Cal. either on its own wheels or lowboy to raise awareness of California State Parks impending closures.

A goodwill ambassador of sorts.

For every 100000 "tree hugger park donor types" in the state theres gotta be one " lover of real cool old industrial stuff sugar daddy types" in the state, so shouldnt have to hard a time finding him to foot the bill, right?

I'll never forget the impression that AT&SF 1010 made on me as a little kid when Santa Fe hauled it all over SoCal cold in the previous century to show little kids what an old steam engine looked like.

Sierra RY #3 on the Peninsula with the GOV. at the latch?

The "Movie Train" goes to Hollywood / LAUPT with Mr. Eastwood or Dr. Emmett Brown on the seatbox?

She's got her black dress on and I heard she rides like a baby buggy and'll run 40 all day long!

Lets go Ladies!
