Fatal CSX rear-ender in NC this morning

At about 03:45 EDT today, northbound CSX train Q194 struck the rear of train Q618 that was stopped ahead of it at Mineral Springs, NC. Both crew members on the striking train now reported as fatalities. Mineral Springs is on the former SCL/SAL line west from Hamlet, NC to Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL.
