I would like to take this time to thank all of the individuals that have contributed to discussion board. I have live in Indonesia since 1982 so I have been away from the railroad scene in the US. Though this board I have been able to follow the progress of what is going on currently and being able to relive the past with posting and photos from the contributors.
I work for the New York Central as a fireman on the K3 Belt Route and then 5 years with the Western Pacific as a Personnel and Training Officer. Those were great times and I have many fond memories of the experiences I had there and with all of the people from the WP. I spent a great deal of my time out in the field especially in the Feather River area and Nevada. Again thanks to all for keeping me current on the UP (WP).
