And like most undesirable things it runs downhill. Our North Sioux City office is East of I-29
and just north of the multi-million dollar Tyson Fresh Meat Division offices and it appears us,
and I-29 are going to be real wet within the next week. On the rail side the BNSF line between
KC/St Joe and Council Bluffs/Omaha has one bridge north of Hamberg which is barely 18 inches above
water and it'll be submerged shutting the line down with four or five days. The UP main east/west
line through Blair at California Jct (which also goes north to Sioux City) most likely will be
flooded. The low spot on the BNSF mainline east of Lincoln which crosses the UP line to KC won't
survive either. The detours are going to be something to behold and the current forecast is that
the high water could last until August or September.
