Nice grab! That's a rarity,no doubt. About ten years ago, there were three short D&H covered hooppers at the Cawelo siding team (just north of Bikersfield,CA) for Elk materials. They were still D&H light tan color and herald, but new reporting marks. They were used for sand for the roofing materials (Elk). They were there a few times; I got a few slides but I never saw them again.
