Simpson Timber- Probably not. They just rebuilt a bridge on the line that washed out less than a year ago. Although anything can happen. Most of their traffic is rough lumber and logs floated down from Canada and hauled from Shelton up to the Dry Sort yard.
City of Prineville- after many years of effort, COP has pulled itself back to the break even point and has many active projects and plans on-going to make themselves profitable again. Trains run a couple days a week. No regular passenger operations anymore- the last operator of the dinner train closed down a while ago, and COP may sell the equipment.
Klamath Northern- anyone's guess. They seem to be having numerous problems with the 125-tonner and have been relying mostly on GP38-3's leased from the Albany & Eastern (one of which went south to the KNOR a month or two ago to fill in after the GE again went down). No idea what the longevity or prospects of this operation is- entirely dependent on the sawmill.
