From the time I moved to Chicago in Sept 1965 until the final trip in 1966, I never missed a steam trip on the "Q" behind the 4960. I loved that loco and loved the fact that she was running in 1965! I am still amazed and delighted that she is still with us and RUNNING 46 years later.

Nobody griped when Dick Jensen changed the looks of his ex GTW pacific 5629. Many trips were enjoyed behind that great loco. It is a travesty that that engine was scrapped, along with Burlington's 5632.
